    Hi All,

Been lurking on Boards for a while now under a different user name

Big Celtic fan hence the new user name and also a big Oasis fan which is where I got the log name from..

I have re discovered running again after a 25 year absence.

Also I have lost 35lb in weight over the last 3 years.

    Started back again October 2009.

    I'm in the M45 bracket.

I started running in the BHAA races in March 2010 and finished somewhere around the 37 minute mark 4 miles which was a PB at the time.

Over the year I have run 25 races approx and have brought my 4m PB down to 31:16, 5k down to 23:48, 5m down to 39:19.

    and 53:30 10k

Plan for this year is to complete in as many BHAA races as possible plus the adidas series.

My targets for the rest of the year are as follows -

    5K - 23:10
    4M - 30:15
    5M - 38:30
    10K- 49:00

I will update the log each week with my training and races

Welcome to the logs and good luck :) The Masterplan is an absolutely savage song.

(Similar time goals to myself btw!)
