quick question I started on a 3 day week last week of March on set hours handed in my slips last Monday for that week and going up today to hand in last week's slip. Havent got my cheque yet for the JB for the 2 days I was off in March
How long does it take them to send out the chq and will they throw in a couple of slips or do I have to queue up again im on my last slip this week. I'm guessing it cos I just started last week of March it will take them a while havent collected anything in post office as they said a cheque would come out to me.

The slips are supposed to come in the post with the cheque. I've been waiting 3 weeks for my cheque!

Serious what the hell takes them so long its only 2 days worth of dole I need by chq on my last slip for this week too, might ask them today as they never pick up the phones and reception always directing me to the long queue with one person working on it never understand that one hatch worker for 15 people queuing  SW rant over!

Have they done a means test and all that yet? I started handing in the slips for this over a month ago, only had the means test today and still have to get a few more forms and stuff in so I'd say I'll be waiting another few weeks before I get anything.

Your claim has to be decided on before any money issues. Have you received a decision letter yet?

it was take up to 6 weeks for them to process a claim!!!! my advise...when you get your slips fill them all in...keep a note of it and post them in they you dont have to queue...you should get the yellow slips out in the pst every 4 or 5 weeks i think.....just think if you havent gotten your money it will be backdated...mine was....felt like i won the lotto!!!!!
