Is there a foot passenger ferry to Liverpool ? Cant seem to find one. What is the cheapest/quickest way of getting there by sea ? Looking to head over on thursday or friday and flights looking too expensive. Thanks, Minty.

Bus Eireann is showing up an open return travelling out on Thursday evening at €70 from Busarus to Liverpool National Express station.

Sail and Rail with Stena is about the same price but actually takes longer!

That's Belfast to Liverpool. Sterling prices too.

(Yes, the OP hasn't stated where he's going from either!)

It's the only ferry company that allows foot passengers out of Liverpool. With P&O Dublin to Liverpool you need some sort of wheels...

Thanks, this is quite cheap and handy actually. The only thing that would discourage me is the prospect of 6 hours on a coach without any alcohol! I'd presume they are strict enough with the policy from reading their T&C , Anybody know?
    Thanks for replies.
