    Hey Folks,

I'm looking for a switch (at least 8 port rack mount) for the Ronald McDonald house in Crumlin.

I am in the process of installing in a new network for the house. I have all the kit gathered with the exception of a switch! This network will provide wireless internet access to the whole house, which provides accommodation to 20 families of sick children being treated in the hospital next door.

All this work is done on a volunteer basis so donation of the switch would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks a Million

BuzzFish is a colleague of mine and i can vouch for what him and a few of the lads here are doing in the Ronald house.

All the work they carry out is in their free time and they've been lucky enough to have been donated a lot of kit from various companies around Dublin.

If anyone had a switch lying around, it'd be going to a great cause!

I Have a 16 port 100Mb switch that I can spare but I need to root out the adapter for it.

Its unmanaged and not rack mounted but has magnetic feet so it can stick to your server cabinet.

If its no good let me know before I tear the house apart for the plug.
