He has been talking about it for a while now but the loss of Matthew Macklin from his stable was a massive blow to that.

Now what is happening with Macklin's "contractual issues" I dont know, but he still has a good relationship with Warren.

In my opinion Warren would need him. With due respect to Ormond, Spike and even if he ropes in Timsy - I dont think they they will be enough for a show of Warren proportions.

I nearly forgot, he is on the verge of signing Dean Byrne as well - I still dont think that Deano would be enough as well.

A card with Macklin, Deano, Spike, Timsy and Ormond would be great. Warren needs Macklin to make it happen though, he is by far the biggest name and even at that he does well to fill the national stadium.

    ........[shakes head]............

If he can indeed get the direct shot at Sturm he may aswell though. Gevor is a dangerous opponent and there's no guarantee he'd beat him so a straight shot at Sturm makes as much sense.
