I just removed a bag (about a stone ) from my 6' tank thanks anyway.

Do you know of any other plant that grows as good and as fast as that?

Water onion, I clip the leaves on mine at least twice a week.

Cheers Cookie_Monster it looks just exactly what I was looking for to add a bit of variety to my tank with the java fern.

    Do you know any others?

nope, I've a couple of Amazon Swords that are reasonable growers, fast when small but have slowed down a bit now. Also got some other yoke that I can't remember what it is but that's pretty slow growing.

Easycarbo seems to help them no end, I've cut back on adding it from 1.5ml a day to 1ml every few days to try and slow growth down a bit.

This looks different from mine as I have a broader leaf.

any chance you would post some to me and I will post some of mine to you?

    if interested that is?

i have a broader leaf one also but not so much - propagates quite slowly. The thin leafed one takes over the tank!! Can send you some no prob....though not sure how well it copes in the post or how to post it and keep it damp/wet. Where do you live? PM me with details if you like
