Vandals steal cable from train signalling system

    All services to Cork Tralee Limerick were disrupted yesterday Monday due to the theft of cable from Irish rails signalling system. This is mad considering the damage these criminals have done and the deaths they could have caused yet they if caught will probably not see inside a cell!

    Only way to deal with this problem is to make the cables live and fry the fcukers if they messed with them. It worked on Dart and Luas overhead cable installation.

    These same degenerated couldn't give a damn about lives at risk, they would do the same to an intensive care unit if they had the chance. Scrap yards should be held just as responsible for receiving this stuff if they had any idea of the source.

    Is signalling cable powered to run signals or is it just data transmission? Converting to optical wouldn't deter vandals but might deter thieves.
