well lads, I bought a ford focus estate and the last owner had 3 mastiffs( size of a shetland pony) and she used to car to carry them around. I already paid 80 quid and got the car valeted and seats washed, used auto glim odur thingy, used fabreez, throw the boot mat out ( kinda helped) and took the back seats and hosed them down with water and sun dried them( small bit hard in sunny Ireland:cool:).
people still can smell it in the car. Hit me up with your suggestions and ideas, and i mean constructive ones, burning the car is not an option.:D

A lemon is suppose to absorb odours is it not? Dont squeeze them on your seats though as it may bleach em:pac:

Lemon ? never heard of that but what I have found effective is an onion sliced in half and left for a day or 2 in the car ( painters do it to reduce the smell of paint ).
If you suspect that dog urine is an issue then use surgical spirit ( not meths ) on the effected areas , the ammonia in most household cleaners will only reactivate the ammonia in the urine and make the smell worse.

This was asked in the Donegal forum a few weeks ago, Milton seemed to be recommended to get rid of any odour.
Sour milk was the problem in that thread.

Get a small bottle of surgical spirits from the chemist (about €4) and sprinkle it on all the seats and carpet

What you use to clean your fridge. It's a mild bleach like. Find it in the baby isle.

Milton is used to sterilise surfaces and baby products like pacifiers, bottles, etc from germs and bacteria. Great for lifting tea and coffee stains from mugs too. :D
