From what I've read the gas operated HK is supposed to be the best.
    But they stopped making it.

I've also read that the Erma M1 clone in 22wmr is pretty hot. One RFD went so far as to say in his opinion it was the best.

For my money though the Marlin 922 is the best looking, excellent stock.
Plus my one comes with a 10 round mag.

Who needs 10 rounds of 22 WMR :p

I read about lots of guns too but very few of them are in this country or could even be licensed here :P I have fired one of the CZ's mentioned here and it IS a brilliant rifle IMHO ;)

I often wish i cold find a 10 round mag for my brno, they can be got abroad but are scarce because this is such a relible gun (never jams) you can spit out rounds as fast as your finger can work the trigger this is where it at its best is when you get a running fox and you can keep firing, they dont get far ;)

Introducing the HK 270 and the HK 300 in .22 lr and .22WMR with a hammer forged polygonal barrels. Hk stopped producing these years ago but they can still be seen in Egun.de for sale.

Also they werent gas operated, they were a straight blowback design.
