Myself and my fiance are really really bad dancers. We need to have a private lesson asap, preferably in our home in South Dublin city. Does anyone know of any dance teachers out there?

    Thanks!

Sure do - give Kim at Kinetix a call:

We got lessons from her last week in Portobello. She's sound, and a good teacher - patient and supportive. Haven't done the dance just yet :pac: but after 2 lessons with her we're REASONABLY confident we'll be able to pull it off.

Just some advice, you'd be better off getting lessons in a hall or dance studio, that way you'll have more of an idea of the size of the floor at your wedding. You can still have private lessons, some teachers have a class but will take you for a private lesson for the hour before hand.

Yeah, totally good advice Toots. I should have said that - we travelled to her for our lessons, in a studio space beside the RAW gym - you wouldn't believe how much floor space the Foxtrot requires!

It's a bit scary isn't it? :) Myself and the hubby were practicing at home between lessons, and the amount of furniture we bumped into was unreal. We ended up doing practice in Mum's back garden :o

Thanks all, have given Kim a buzz and booked a lesson - she seems really reasonable too.
