    Hi All.

We drew down on a mortgage just before Christmas. At the time they were hmming about scrapping the 7 years interest relief for FTB's.

Our monthly mortgage payments since Christmas have been a bit more than I was expecting, and was wondering does anyone know how I'd find out if we are still entitled to the FTB relief?

    firstly
    did you apply for trs.
if not download the form from revenue online and apply.
    secondly if you did.
you should still be getting trs
so ring your bank and find out what you are getting.
if you drew down during the year last year,
you would not have received trs for the first or second month of your repayment as the claim would not have been processed in time,
so the trs for those payments would have been added to the rest of the years trs and divided evenly.
