My wife has an complaint lodged with the Equality Tribunal which is soon to be heard. Last week her place of work closed down making all of the staff redundant so we just want to know if the complaint will still go ahead

The commissioner can still make an award in her favour, if the company is in liquidation/receivership then the money will be paid out by the Insolvency Payments section of the DETI. Make sure to call the ET and let them know as they will likely have to contact the Liquidator/Receiver.

Note: I'm working on the assumption that the equality tribunal is a similar setup to the LRC/EAT?
