Galway eyeglasses repair

In a comedy of errors, War and Peace has broken my glasses. That's what I get for keeping them balanced atop books balanced precariously atop my nightstand. The right side of the frames is fine, but the left is bent all funny, the lens has popped out, and they're nice frames, difficult for me to bend back. They're prescription, and while I can see all right without them, with the amount of time I'm going to spend reading and staring at my computer screen for the next six days I'd really like to get them fixed, if possible, and ASAP.

I found an old thread here from two years ago, but it seems a bit out of date, or maybe things have changed. I'm in the City Centre, and the closer the better. Suggestions?

Damn you Tolstoy, I knew you'd get me in the end!

Faller's (not sure on spelling) Jewelry shop across from Corbett Court (so between the Newsagent and Maxwell's) has an optician upstairs that can repair glasses. Got mine done last week, took them about 2 hours. Specsavers don't fix snapped frames anymore but they might sort other problems.

I was asking for recommendations, because some are better than others. :)

And @Pauric, thanks. The frames are still in tact, everything's just bent all to hell and the lens needs to be placed back in, I'm hoping it can all be straightened out. I'll look into it!

There's a specsavers in the Eyre Sq Shopping Centre. I got my frame re-adjusted there for free, but maybe you have to be a Specsavers customer.

I used Helen Walsh Opticians a few years ago to get repairs done. Happily I haven't had to get any repairs done since.
