Problems with Dell projector

    My Dell 2400MP projector sometimes shuts down and restarts very soon after starting up. Other times it goes well. The lamp light shows up occasionally and then it shuts down. The problem is intermittent but I can't rely on the ******** thing. I don't think its a bulb problem. The fan and vents are clean and dust clear. The projector is always allowed to cool down until the fans turn off before turning off. Any suggestions?

    Replace the bulb perhaps...can you find out how many hours are on the bulb?

    Only 108 hours on bulb. Don't think its the bulb. Not going to buy one at the price they are without making sure its a bulb thats the problem.

    Could be a faulty bulb though, sometimes you can be unlucky and get a dud.

    Have you contacted your retailer or Dell?
