CER is making it illegal to work on domestic LPG gas from the 27th of june if you are not RGII registered, well overdue.

I'll take bets that this will increase the prices charged by RGII registered contractors. Thats what normally happens when one body (in this case the RGII) has control.

well you charge what you need to cover your expenses but it means that all those illegal and dangerous installs will hopefully be a thing of the past.

Registration, without inspection and incarceration for
all those illegal and dangerous installs

will only drive up the price with little improvement in compliance

Presumably, it's always been the case that any tradesman needs to cover his expenses.

I was informed it's being rushed through because the RGII inspectors arn't able to test those RGI's who work on LPG only and have no means of conducting a Annex E test on a Natual gas installation.
