    Howdy all,

Noticed a small problem with my car, my fuel release lever doesnt seem to be working, it takes 2 people to get it open, basically i have to hold the lever while someone else opens it, not a good idea when its sunday morning at 8am and its only you and the petrol station attendant.

My question is is there a quick fox for this or will i have to tip into my mechanic?

Attach some kind of spring thats under pressure when the lid is closed to the inside of the lid.

Then, when you lift of the lever, the spring and lid should pop open.

some cars have an emergency release in the boot.
    check your owners manual.
