Havin trouble choosing a location in the Algarve.

For a group of 4, in early 20's, that want a good sun holiday in a place not wedged with chavy tourists or too quite either, with a decent nitelife but not like Ibiza or anythin, a place with plenty to do, especailly water activities, where would ya choose.

I went to Praia D'Oura for a holiday there with my family and then once with my friends, it was really good fun like there is a strip where you can go for food and drinks but its not over the top! and there are lovely beaches and obvo the hotels are well nice just remember get a place with air conditioning cos its soo hot! :)

Albefueira (spelt wrong) would be the liveliest place but is too 'chavvy' in my opinion.
Alvor is a bit further from the airport and water parks but sounds like what youre looking for.
Avoid Villamoura though as its too fake and expensive - nice to visit though for a day/night.
Lagos is lovely, but maybe not enough nightlife.

Armação de Pêra was a good location I went on holidays in the Algarve with 5 others. Not many British either which is a plus.
