Problems with Aer Lingus Website

    Hi,
    I've been trying to make a booking all day on Aer Lingus website but everytime I click the confirm button on final page it just navigates back to Aer Lingus homepage and my booking has disappeared. Anyone else having problems with it? I'm using a voucher to pay for my flight so maybe this is causing a problem.

    The Aer Lingus online booking system seems to be having trouble with Chrome. Internet Explorer and Safari work fine so far. With Chrome, I get as far as entering cc info, and then when asked to "Continue" the button is not active.

    I am having the same problem with Chrome, flips back to first page with no indication that the booking was accepted or rejected.

    Same problem with Firefox. Worked with Internet Explorer. In this day and age you would think that they would also cover mobile Android, Apple, Blackberry as well as Firefox and Chrome. Lots of business people are booking and rescheduling on smart phones and pads. Is AL headed for trouble?

    Booking went ok , credit card charged. I printed transaction details, no confirmation number on it. No confirming email received.
    I emailed Special Assistance who referred me to ccc@Aerlingus.com.

    Both useless I have sent another email telling them to confirm or I will stop payment. This is increasingly looking to me like a company that is as well run as the Irish Gov't.

    I can't use the Aer Lingus site at the moment - when I select a flight it goes to page cannot be displayed - anyone else?



    Edit - working with Google Chrome, just not internet explorer.


    And that blasted pop up still happening asking me what country I'm from and what airport I want to use - they really are muppets.

    I booked flights... it did not go to the confirm page, so does this mean i will have to book again and pay for a second booking??? guess ill ring up monday. :(

    If you didn't get a confirmation e-mail within a few minutes, the booking never happened. Try a different browser and next time, open a new thread instead of piggybacking on one that's over a year old.

    hahha yeah ... well i did it in the "seven minutes" five minutes flat ! and still does that. Yeah i know the booking never happened , yeah ill try again diffo browser and within seven minutes.
