Laptop performance issue

Hi guys, Just got an Asus laptop over the xmas and its been working fine, mostly using it for gaming and college. A few months ago I could run Oblivion and Mass Effect 2 on it perfectly, but recently it seems to overheat and crash more often. I am wondering is this a problem with my fan should I go to buy cleaning stuff…

Hi guys,

Just got an Asus laptop over the xmas and its been working fine, mostly using it for gaming and college. A few months ago I could run Oblivion and Mass Effect 2 on it perfectly, but recently it seems to overheat and crash more often. I am wondering is this a problem with my fan should I go to buy cleaning stuff for it? or is it with my registry because I have some registry issues but I use CCleaner? If so I might just have to reinstall windows 7.
