I was just thinking. Some people on here begrudge people who earn a few thanks in a post.

    But.

At the end of the day, isn't it a good feeling knowing you have made someone smile today.

Maybe that person has been sitting in their mold infested flat as the rain pounds down outside, and a simple smile has made their day a bit brighter.

    Thanks.

Yeah but most posts here, although they might have cheered one person, were probably making another person feel ****.:D it's the multiplier effect man!

    As I said before

What part of "Posters have no control over how many people decide to thank their posts" do these people not get ?

I mean this post might get zero thanks or it might get every registered user of boards.ie thanking it. Hell it might even get people registering especially just to thank it (hardly). But I dont have any advance knowledge of this. Nor do I particularly care much -or at least I dont care as much as you seem to.

No shame in posting an obviously funny post in response to a thread. Nothing whorish about that in the times we find ourselves in.

Could be worse - you could be a vote whore!
