    Hi,
My partner is a dental nurse working in a private clinic.
Can she claim FRE as a nurse working in a hospital?
She washes her own supplied uniform.

Those expenses are already covered through flat rate expenses that are given based on profession.

She doesn't need to claim anything. Her payroll will do it automatically via her PRSI class.

She just started using PAYE Anytime.
FREx is unclaimed in the online form.
In her previous years - when she was in a different profession - the relevant FREx's were claimed for and are shown as such online.

The closest item we are querying is
Health Profession - Hospital - Nurse - Laundry of supplied uniform.

I suppose my question is does Nurse cover Dental Nurse and does Hospital include private clinic?

    The answer is yes .

Flat rate expenses is based on profession , not on area of employment.

As a nurse , washing and maintaining your own uniform , you can claim maximum FRE .

If the details are unclear on paye anytime , it is best to outline your claim on a blank sheet of paper and post to Revenue . ( quoting your PPS No. )
