Just heard one of my neighbours was found dead this morning, young guy with a family and everything to look forward to. Second suicide in the area in the last couple of months. Totally shocked at the moment.

Everybody wears a mask in one way or another - you don't know what was going on that guy's life or going on in his head. He clearly believed he had no alternative.

The best thing you can do is be thankful to be alive, thankful that you have good things in your own life and try to be there for other people when you think they might need someone to talk to.

If you think you suspect someone is feeling down a cheerful smile or simple friendly remark could brighten up their day and change their mind. Spread positivity around.
