Just wondering where everyone disposes of their used oil when servicing their cars.

Can you bring it to a disposal centre and have it disposed of at a cost?

In Mayo the local council recycling centre(dump) takes it for free
Might be the same in your place, check with the local council

Council sites as mentioned, some are free some take a €1 or too admittance fee for recyclables, some ask for proof you have paid your refuge fees too.

I was thinking about this for sometime, thanks to the Op for posting.

There is a council recycling centre near me and they have €3 entry fee, but I assumed there was an extra charge for used oil and the like, I must have been wrong.

I'll have to check it out anyway next week :)
