Hey, I booked two tickets for myself and my boyfriend for next sunday from cork to gatwick but I made the stupid mistake of leaving out my boyfriends middle names on his ticket :(

Its completely my fault but its €100 to change the name. Will he refused travel at the airport? Can anyone give me a definite answer? Anyone experienced something similar lately?

    Thanks in advance :)

my middle name is on my passport and ive never ever used it on tickets and its been grand, i dont think they pay much attention to middle names so long as the first and last match

Not to worry, I use Ryanair often and never enter my 2nd name and I also have my middle name on my Passport and never get trouble.

When you would have trouble would be when a lad is called "Patrick John Murphy" or something but is known as John and the 2nd name was entered as the first or worse an alias that he is known as like ricky or something.

Phew thanks for the reassurance I was kinda worried and didn't want to pay €100 to change his name when the flight cost €12 :p

To be fair when you are booking it asks for first name and last name and doesn't ask for middle names too. I'll let ye know how it goes next Sunday anyway :o
