I am just wondering would there be any problem getting reasonable insurance on an American classic with a massive (by our standards) engine. I have my eye on a car and I don't want to purchase without knowing about potential pitfalls.

btw, My insurance record to date is spotless.

depends on your age, and your licence. are you over 25 with a full clean licence? you also need a daily driver . if your answer to all 3 is yes, then there should be no problem getting insurance, try carol nash or axa..:D
