gas boiler problem

    have a potterton gas boiler
    wont fire up at all
    pressure is has gone below 0.5 bar, which i think is stopping it fire up
    where do i find valve to increase pressure

    read thru a few threads on this
    when i try to repressure it from upstairs it doesnt seem to increase the pressure at all

    Hi,

    I am having the same problem with Baxi solo3 PFL80

    Pressure is right down and it takes c2 hours for pilot/burner light to come on a fire up???

    Larry1 your boiler is not pressure sensitive.once there is a small amount of pressure in it,it will fire. Probably a different fault like circuit board/ fan/gas valve. Get a service guy out.

    opened up front and checked fuses..all ok
    had power going in but no return
    i adjusted the stat
    it kicked in after that
    but i intend to get it looked at properly
    a good friend works for himself, has all the courses done for gas bolier work
    will report back when he has a look at it
