PS3 Networking Help Please

    I'm having an issue when I'm downloading an add-on that allows me to export all my Green Day Rockband Songs into Rockband 3...Everytime I download it, the installer fails at 14%, claiming some sort of error...

    Because Im using my PS3 online through my laptop (internet sharing mobile broadband) Ive a feeling it may not be downloading right...

    Im wondering, is there any way to download it directly to my laptop, then put it onto the ps3 with a USB stick or something? It's wrecking my head...

    Any help appreciated :)
