Booking NCT

    Hi

    I have a query about the dreaded NCT. I think I need to book a test, I don't have a cert and don't know the date of first registration of the car. How do I know if I need a test? Is there any way I can find from my reg no? I can't find what I need to know on the website.

    Any help greatly appreciated!

    Do you not have the log book for the car? Im nearly sure its when the car is 4 years old then every 2 years after that.

    No I don't have it, I have to apply for one I know it more than likely need to be done but I can't book one without the registration date, it's a nightmare. I'm going to ring them on monday and see what they say.

    You don't personally need to know the date of first registration. All you have to do is ring them and give the reg and they'll set up a test date for you.
