Put out a stump of a furze bush with some of O'Gormans "revenge" scent lure on it, see if it'd draw anything in the "rush jungle".

Tomorrow I'll try a different lure on it, perhaps the "Long distance call".

Only one anti social fox spotted, hen and cock pheasant too.

Lovely photos John....I'm really impressed with the quality.....very clear & everything easily identifible.

Having one or two of those adds a whole new interest to shooting.....seeing what's on the land.....must be a bit of a 'buzz' when you see it has been triggered ....waiting to see what's on it.

    I don't have one.....just wondering:

does the camera tell you how many times it has been triggered (if at all) when you check it? (is there a counter?)

Do you have to take the camera home / to a laptop to download images & then return to set it again.....or do you have spare memory cards and just switch them over?

    Well done!

Different cameras have different features. Inside of the cover there's an LCD screen telling you how many photos have been taken. The photos are stored on a 1gb SD card, I've two cards for each camera, so I put in a fresh one each time I check the cameras. On this particular camera there is also a "log" of detections. The frustrating thing is it doesn't always take a photo per detection, but I know there were 8/9 detections around the time that fox photo was taken. It's an older model camera. So you don't have to take it home. I do, however, bring the laptop with me when setting that camera up, as there's no viewer screen on it to tell me exactly where it's pointing at.

Here's brock on my Moultrie i60, this is an infra red camera now so it's black and white at night compared to the colour photos of the flash cameras. Set up that little cage to see if any foxes about, haven't seen any so far there.

I have a newer Moultrie D55, which is another flash camera and gives excellent photos at night. I'll post some of those photos when I have some good ones.
