Mortgage Interest Relief

I have my mortgage with AIB and pay it from an AIB account and so receive my MIR into this account, i now want to change the account my mortgage gets paid from and am wondering whats the story with the MIR will AIB automatically pay this into the account the mortgage is being paid from or will i need to contact the revenue…

no need to contact the revenue about this.
they do not deal with how the payment is made to the individual customers.
best thing to do is contact the bank.
i am not sure how they work it.
by the sounds of it,
it looks like they lodge it into the account the mortgage is paid from.
