for the last week my 00 golf gave troubble starting, when id turn the key the engine will turn but dosent make any effort to start.if i then turn the ignition off and try it again itl start fine.
now last nite i started her and drove 100meter up the road and the car dies, just stops dead and dosent want to start any more,
looked at it today and its getting fuel and spark, connected a obd tool to it and it said injector circuit low.im tinkn that was maybe because of the battery,it was dead when i tried it this morning.
another thing, when i turn the key and push the accelerator all the way down,it misfires out the intake.
does any one have the slitest idea whats wrong??
    any help greatly appreciated

    Something similar happened mine.

If I started it without any foot on the accelerator it would just turn over , but if I pressed a little gas it was just like normal until I took my foot of the accelerator and it would just cut out again.

In that case it was the Throttle Body which needed cleaning, carbon can build up on them.

Dunno if that helps but anyway...:)

i found the problem, the small timing belt that connects the 2 cams slipped and didnt move the outlet valves, thats why there was misfire out the intake.just hope now the valves didnt go tru the pistons
ill take of the head in the morning and ill know more.
