Questions re: grant and postgrad

I've just been accepted to a postgrad next year and I just wanted to get a few things straight in my head.

    1. When can I apply for the grant?

    2. I remember last year people being annoyed with the new rule that you had to be out of college for 3 years to change the type of application for a grant. I got a grant for my undergrad while living with my parents. I am still living at home so want to apply as still being dependant. I am only out of college 2 years. As it stands am I still safe enough unless they change the rules again this year?

    Thanks everyone :)

    1 around May
2 its hard to say because the rules are always changing.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Does it really matter how long it's been since you're out of college? Donegal CC told me they'd keep funding me so long as it was progressive (i.e. degree-->Masters-->PhD) and I didn't repeat any years.

Jeez, that seems really harsh. And doesn't make much sense if people know they want to continue. I had no idea, my bad!

This is going to sound really dumb but -just so I can get this straight in my mind.

I finished my undergrad in May 2008- so by Sept 2011- I will have been out of college for over 3 years right ??

Sorry to bring the IQ level down to such a low :0
