Skinny Jeans... where to buy?

    Hi,

I've been looking for a nice pair of skinny jeans for a while now and I can't seem to find a pair anywhere! (Probably cause I don't know where to look!!) Preferably under about €70...

I saw that topshop have gorgeous ones on their website, does anyone know if they are any good? Do they last? Are they good jeans basically, if not does anyone know where else sells skinny jeans?

    Thanks! :)

I like Topshop skinny jeans. I tend to buy a size down as I find that they stretch out a lot and you end up constantly pulling them up and being left with baggy bum. I'd recommend trying on a few pairs in store. I find it really hard to buy jeans online without trying 'em on first. They are great jeans though, imo.

I like river island, but its hit and miss in there with me. Most make my thighs look bigger than they are, but when I find a good pair, my god are they good. Lived in the last pair of black ones I got. Loved them.

Any particular colour youre looking for?

    Navy? Blue? Black? Grey? Stonewash?

    Specifics would be great.

However, there is a great range of skinny jeans in New Look and River Island.
River Islands jeans can be quite expensive but I think they are worth the money. They are long lasting and of good quality.

New Looks' jeans however, are much more reasonably prices but wouldnt be up to the standards of River Island.

I love my littlewoods high waist skinnies, I think "Molly" is the style.

I have an M&S pair but they're not skinny enough, but they do not ride low which is a plus imo.

A-wear have a nice selection of jeans in at the moment, but I'd definitely advise trying on a few pairs/sizes - I find the sizing is a bit all over the place at the moment :(

I love topshop baxter jeans they're tight without being too tight. I find the jamie ones seem to have too much elastic and the knees go really baggy. Recently bought a few pairs in new look the skinnies and super skinnies are so reasonable and not bad at all. The only thing is that their colour selection isn't as good as topshops.

    Thanks everyone :)

I would be looking for navy or blue jeans, or maybe stonewash as they can look really cool but I do desperately need a new pair of navy/blue jeans as my current pair are completely wrecked!!

I never thought of New Look and River Island, thanks!

I need a good pair of skinnies too, so I'll be keepin an eye on your thread OP :)

As far as the Awear skinnies go, they are ok, for 35euros they are cheap. But they are too high waisted for me, but some may prefer this. And I would buy a size down as the ones I have have gotten baggy in the arse already and I've only worn them a couple of times.

I think I'll be checkin out the skinnies in Stradivarius and Topshop. I've heard the Stradivarius jeans are really nice.

    Gap?

I've found topshop jeans to stretch out substantially and a-wear's are crap quality.

I got a completely awesome pair in Forever21 for 23.80. I love them beyond reason. They benefit from a belt, but I find that with most jeans so not sure if it's them or me, really. Belt on they stay in shape very well and require no pulling up.

A wear jeans are awful imho, sizing is laughable you could pick up 3 pairs of jeans in the same size and they'd all be different sizes! i put a size 8 dress on in there the other day and it was too big in the chest! I'm a D/DD, there's no way i can even be an 8 dress size!!

My favourite skinny jeans ever are from Dorothy Perkins, they fit like a glove and are reasonably priced! love them! Always buy my jeans from there now!

You could always try pennies, i got a really nice pair there once, you never know you might get lucky, and they're so cheap you can buy about 3 pairs of the same jean and they'll end up lasting as long as awear ones!

Levi's new Curve ID is brilliant in all jeans - it bases the shape of the jeans on how curvy you are (hip to waist ratio) and they fit like a dream! Pricey but worth every penny and the last forever. Sizing is pretty dead on, but usually in American sizing so look it up, and are available online. I'm not sure if they are available in stores over here yet though.
