Radio reports said it was 4 terraced houses on fire but the RTE site seems to indicate apartment block?

    http://www.rte.ie/news/2011/0401/terenure.html

Anyone have any details on this?

It's a block of houses. I live next to them.

    That photo looks bad.
    Did everyone get out ok?

Still ongoing according to news at five. That could just mean the FB are making sure the fire is fully out and there is no further risks.

From what people on the street said everyone seems acounted for. Four people walked out of one of the houses when it started and another family arrived on the scene while the fire was still on going so I think everyone is ok. But from what I saw, if anyone was trapped, there was no way they could have gotten out, it spread so quickly!

Yes it seems to be out. Smoke is still billowing out but there are no longer any flames visible.

Apparently one of the centre houses exploded, according to an eyewitness. Buses through Terenure from Rathgar still heavilly disrupted.

    Deffo Terenure Rd. East.

I went down and took some snaps.

2 Stories, 1 it was gas and 2 it was electrical. Either way, seems completely accidental.

The gaff at the end was being demolished enough to make that side road safe. It's blocked off for now.

I'll lash up the link o the photos once they up load.
