Well I've been travelling for the past few days hence my silence!

Honestly, I never remember the names of hostels. I usually just wander around until I find one that looks nice. I had a beach hut in Costa Rica and Malaysia that were kind of hostels I suppose. If I knew the names of them I would rank them highly.

In general as a solo traveller it has to have a good common area. I like the Bearded Monkey in Nicaragua. When I was there (2007) it served great food and beer in it's common area. It also was quiet at nighttime which is a must. I also like being able to have a tab for food/drink so I can relax and not worry about always having money on me.

The aqua lounge in Bocas Del Toro, Panana, was also great. Had a trampoline in the water. That's about all I can remember!
