DMF & DPF in 6 cylinder diesels

Hello, Does anyone know if the particulate filter is in the 6 cylinder diesels like audi's 3.0tdi & BWM's 530d? Also are there dual mass flywheels on every car now? Thanks

Almost all six cylinder diesel BMWs and Audis are automatic, and the good news is that these, like all autos, don't have DMFs !

As for the DPF, no idea but I would imagine that the newer the car is, the more likely it is to have a DPF fitted.

The current model A6 since 2004 and the E60 5 Series diesels have DPFs afaik.
