LED parking bulbs

    My Audi A4 has blown a parking bulb, so I've decided to replace the two of them with brighter/whiter bulbs. The current bulbs are from when I bought the car last year, and like most of these bulbs, they are yellow in light and not white.

    Anyone know where I can purchase these bulbs in a shop, not the internet. Also, has anyone bought LED bulbs that don't throw up errors on the dashboard?

    Hi I have been looking to do the same for my Leon the bulbs have to be canbus friendly to work,its been a few months since I last tried to get a set in Dublin and I couldn't get them anywhere I tried the normal halfords, motor factors and some performance places to no joy.

    I know you said no internet but that's the only place I could see them and they went too bad price wise.
    If you do find somewhere please let me know.

    They wont throw up errors if they have a resistor built in or wired in series.

    You can get normal 5W filament bulbs that will be whiter, philips probably do the best quality ones. Think thats what I put in her car to match the whiter colour of the nightbreakers.

    Halfords do two versions I think - both look blue in the packet, one lights up pretty much white, the other is a definite blue colour. Laser blue lights up white allegebly.

    Bought "white" LEDs from EBay and they were skangertastic blue in real life...

    There are some canbus error free on www.futureled.ie I know no net, but hey I dunno anywhere that sells em.

    I got a set of free park light LEDs with a h1 bulb set off ebay & stuck them in my e36 for the craic, they actually look really cool in the flesh, pure white sidelight as opposed to the typical yellow tinge of a filament bulb, and passed the NCT with em too. i'd definately recommend them, they really do make the car alot more distinct at night

    Thats your man's store, the H1s didnt last the longest though, but I think that may be as a result of vibrations in my n/s foglight due to a PO not having a clue how to remove it. disappointed but cheaper than halfrauds
