HI there, I bought a navy dress for work the other day and bought a mustard jacket to go with it.. It looks great, but have no idea what sheos to wear. I have lookd everywhere and cannot find navy shoes at all.

Could I wear a different colour? or would 3 colours look ridiculous? I have tried geting mustard shoes, but they are all either tan or nude ////

any suggestions at all please? I start back to work on Monday after a 2 year leave and really want to make a good impression

Well you can go colourful or understated, depends on what you think is more appropriate. If you want to be colourful wear some red shoes (if you're going to wear different colours like that they'd have to be good quality shoes, as they'll stand out) to get a clashy mashy sort of look, or if you want to be a bit more understated, don't be scared of black. I personally think that the rule against black and navy doesn't really stand anymore, especially when they're not touching. That said, the navy I'm thinking of is slightly more on the blue side than the black side, maybe you could give us a pic of a similar dress/jacket?

Why not try nude shoes, if your wearing tan tights they wont be the focus and wont look like your wearing 3 different colours

    Mustard and navy. .

I think tan or nude shoes would work best with those colours.

And if you were wearing a different colour jacket with the dress, you could be a little more adventerous with red shoes.

yep.. it's a freaky mustard colour, but despite the fact that it's a very professional company, it's not quite a solicitors or accountants so would like to be a bit adventurous...

Got some black and mustard shoes today and both look great with it so problem solved ...but thanks again
