Anyone else ready for a new map pack again?

Or maybe I should just go buy MW2, that probably makes sense right?

Black ops is my first COD too but I'm not bored of the maps yet. Actually dont really play the new multiplayer maps that often and just getting into the zombies map.

Seen MW2 in the shops second hand for 20 quid and some people love it on this so I'm sure it'd be worth it. A lot of those same people dont particularly like Black ops though so im not sure how I'd find it since I love blops. Then there's the whole hacker problem i hear about mw2 which might be exaggerated for all i know.

MW2 is a great game but again has a lot of issues-recommend getting it along with MW1.

Each of the CoD games always will have people who prefer an older/newer one so make your own decision!

Well I still enjoy the maps on Black Ops and have really enjoyed the zombie games, including dead-ops arcade lately, but I'd have loved more maps just for the variety factor. 4 in First-Strike just wasn't enough for me.

Will have to splash out on MW1 and 2 so when I've a free weekend to lash into them.

I got a copy of World at War (from the brother) recently and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the maps on that.

Just can't get enough it seems ;)

MW2 is an awesome game. I'm very much a casual gamer and a lot of the "pros" :) rail against the cheap tactics available. It is very dfferent to blops in terms of pacing. MW2 is a good bit faster and feels more fluid. Graphics & sound in MW2 are much much better. SP is solid and MP on PS3 is still going strong (don't think it ever took off on PC). MW2 is my fav in the series (was my first COD online) but I play Blops more cos ........? Actually not sure think it maybe because it's easier to play drunk.

Was actually thinking of getting it this weekend but with the rent due its nearly a choice between it and headin out! Want to just try it alright plus giving quick scoping a try would be a bit of craic even though im not much of a sniper cos I dont have the patience to stay behind cover or the skill to shoot as soon as i scope in on Black ops.

Saw this one MW2 FFA with chris smoove who is a camper anyways but he was using scavenger and just kept replacing the claymore and I was thinking who thought that would be a good idea in the game??

Got it! and Love it!, Some of the multiplayer maps are a bit weird, but still fun... Like Wasteland, or Rust.

But Some of them seem better even than Black Ops. Much more vertical gameplay. I find the bigs ones (which seem far bigger than anything on Black Ops - though that might change as I get used to them) Seem like a mix of Black Ops Maps and Bad Company Maps.

Very good game all the same. Well, it's unlikely I'll get round to playing the single player any time soon ( I still haven't finished Black Ops and have it since Nov haha). But I really enjoyed some of the special ops games.

    Thanks for replies all!
