    Hey all,
Just looking for everyones opinion on this. I'm looking for a mens suit at the moment and I'm just wondering if suits which have a thick/ very obvious pin stripe in them are out of fashion and out dated.
Have they been replaced by a more subtle stripe??
    Similar to the one below

A bold pin looks good. Full stop.

Follow men's fashion at your peril as you'll be dressed a mod this year and a 1930s gangster next.

Pin stripe is hard to judge on a photo - but if the stripe is too light, then I'd avoid. Subtle stripes (light grey on dark grey) work better.

Often when I see pinstripe, I think car salesman.

    ^^ I second dudara's motion.

I also think that pinstripe suits can only be worn with plain shirts and relatively plain ties, at least a plain suit can go with evrything

Depends on the width of the stripe
