What to do for my holidays?

I got 2-2.5 weeks holidays that I have to take over the next few months. I usually save up my hols and go on a big holiday but my boss has put a stop to that. Over the last 4-5 years I've done the following...im now looking for a different idea on how to spend my 2-3 weeks of.

I've done extended trips to SE Asia and Australia over the last few years. I've been to pretty much every European capital (bar the odd few) and a load of non-capitals, so wanna stay away from Europe.
I've done the Trans Mongolian - Riga to Beijing.
I've been to India and Japan.
    Been to the Middle East.
Done a few music festivals on the continent.
Have camper van'd around Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Been to a few places in the US, NY, Florida, Chicago. Toronto in Canada.
Done all the lads holidays to Ibiza and Ayia Napa when I was a young lad.

So, any mad ideas on how I can spend my 2 week holiers? I'm 28, will probably be going with a couple of mates, love going out and drinking with the locals at night, doing a few sights during the day etc have a budget of about 1500euro incl. spending money.

South America is kinda out due to the time restriction and the budget. The idea of Africa scares the crap out of me and I have no interest whatsoever of going there at this stage of my life (maybe in the future). No interest in climbing a mountain or anything that takes way to much effort.
Am thinking of doing a Top Gear challenge - driving a small motorbike through Vietnam.

Basically, for 2 weeks the worlds my oyster, what should I do?

Hit the Arctic before it disappears. Thinking of doing this myself later in the year, they have some interesting packages.

I work my ass of. I do 60-70 hour weeks and have been doing them since I'm 18, basically I have no life outside of work except for the trips away! Didn’t take out a huge mortgage and have always been good with money.

Some pretty crap suggestions here at the moment! I'm going to throw Route 66 into the frame (I know its not there anymore, but I'll do the interstates) but that clashes with my goal in life which is to travel around the world on a motorbike like Ewan McGregor.

Are we not allowed talk about fun things anymore cos some people dont have jobs?

Whats the point of asking people on here when you already have a rough outline of what you want to do  plus posting in AH about travel was your first mistake, especially when there is a forum dedicated to Travel. What were you expecting from this thread?

I have a rough outline of what I want to do, rough being the keyword in that sentence. I'm only at the stage where I'm trying to gather ideas of what would be best to do.

The reason I ask in After Hours is that there is likely to be crazier and more out there suggestions (which is what I'm after) than the more conservative answers you'll get in the travel forum.

The Artic idea is fantastic. Will certainly look into that.

And the envy comment above, im not a saddo who likes to be envied by a few people on the internet

You most certainly are allowed! :) My holiday planning doesn't commence for another few weeks but I can enjoy living vicariously in the meantime. I know you referred to Route 66 but have you considered California, as in renting a beachhouse with your buddies and making your own fun? It really is a beautiful place and when I look back all I remember is blazing sunshine, beach parties, barbecues and having the best time!

Have a ball where ever you choose!

Have you been to New Zealand? Most of what you've done is either on my to do list or have done already. I doubt if the €1,500 budget would do unless you won free flights or someit for to go to Kiwi country.

OP - Why don't you just go to a Travel Agency?

Not for the whole two weeks though. Maybe just a long weekend.
