    Hi,

My gf's 01 Yaris failed the NCT for no passenger side dip beam. Annoying as it obviously went out between leaving the house and the test.

Anyway I changed the bulb today and its still not working the headlight and sidelight are though just like the old bulb.

Any ideas what this could be?

Did you try the defective bulb in the other light that you know is working?

No I didn't will try this later, have tried a brand new bulb though so presumed its some sort of problem with the light.

Yeah your right it probably is but might as well rule it out even though chances are very low. Did you follow the wires back as far as you could?

The high and low beams are fused together so it shouldn't be a fuse problem if your handy with electronics I can send you on a wiring diagram.
