What software are you using to convert your flv files?
What Bit Rate have you set in the converter for the MP3 files?

    Plenty of software to try.
Have you tried Super - for converting most video formats?
Or Audacity - Also used for recording any sound on your PC.

Another converter that comes recommended is Free Flash Flv MP3 specifically used for what you are doing.
There are plenty of programs out there, but downloading and installing them all will reap havoc on your pc..

Try aTube Catcher If you are downloading them, this will convert them on the fly. I've been using it for a while now, and never had any problem with it. I find it excellent.

I'd remove videodownloader first, if you have it.

i don't like recommending tons of software to do one job, and if you ignore my previous post ( I didn't realise you were downloading them and then converting), I think you'll find this program to be the best for that job.
EDIT - Plus his advice is nearly 4 years old..
