    Im just wondering what the law it regarding clamping outside unused buildings
    and what is the exact law for clapming

    DCC can legally clamp and have full support of law. Private clamping is a grey area and technically is not covered for in law.
    Damaging a clamp is criminal damage and you can be taken to court for it

    There are all sorts of arguments for/against it, search this forum for threads.

    If it's a DCC clamp they probably will be - i've seen a van driver getting caught in the middle of cutting a clamp off, and the Gardaí were called.

    yeah I meant a non-DCC clamp
