    Hello, I'm wondering if anybody would know how long it takes the Dublin buses to go from Drumcondra train station to DCU? Also

    - Between all bus numbers/ routes that go from Drumcondra train station to DCU, how regular would buses be?

    - How far is the DCU campus from the bus stop?

    Thank you.

    To get from Drumcondra to DCU by bus it takes about 10 minutes, possibly less in good traffic conditions. I think the only buses that pass the train station are 13 and 13A (or 16/16A if you fancy a bit of a walk).

    The bus stop is right outside the Ballymun Road entrance of the campus - literally less than 20 seconds away.

    The 11/a goes by the station and will leave you by the Ballymun road entrance to DCU. The 3 also goes by and will leave you less than 5 minutes away from the collins ave entrance.

    Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

    20mins is usually how long I'd try and leave to do the journey, it all depends on how fast you walk, and more importantly how quick the bus comes

    Its just the 13 that will go through Drumcondra when the bus network is overhauled. Think the 11 and the 3 are for the total chop on the Northside.

    :confused::confused::confused:

    The 11 is the only decent bus servicing DCU

    ^^ This.

    Even now though, the actual journey time itself is very short, really the issue lies in the bus actually showing up within a decent amount of time. Sometimes you could get one within 5 minutes, other times it could be up to half an hour...

    I'd leave a half an hour to get from there to dcu. You could be lucky and get an 11 or a 13a straight away and get there in ten minutes but there's also the chance you could have to wait quite a while. You can get a 3 also,which will take about ten minutes plus a five to ten minute walk.
