Tyres - Worth going north?

I've the NCT on a 1999 Toyota Corrolla Terra 1.3 in about two weeks and will need 4 new tyres to pass. Think they're 175/65/R/14's at present.

Don't give a damn about performance / handling given that it's a boring, cheap runaround so cost is the main priority. Can anyone recommend anywhere around Dublin? Or is it worth my while going north for them? I may have a business trip to Belfast before the NCT date anyway so anywhere along the M1 / around Belfast would suit okay?

Best price I've found so far was €220 for 4 BFGoodrich GRIP 175/65/TR/14's from http://www.discounttyres.ie which would be pretty handy as it's only around the corner from work.

If you're looking to get them done as cheaply as possible then staying local is probably your best bet. If you buy online you need to take the cost of fitting into account. If you go up north just to get tyres fitted, how much is the journey gonna cost?

Have a good ring around, there can be massive difference in prices between places.

Wouldn't drive north just for the tyres but might be doing so for work anyway...

The Camskill prices look great but assume I'd lose the difference getting them fitted / balanced etc?

You could try atlas in sandyford and dave mccann in blanch. Both were giving me quotes of around 50/55 a corner for 13s, fitted and balanced.
Getting from camskill and then getting fitted was coming out maybe 20 quid cheaper in total - so not really worth the hassle unless you want a specific tyre or buying exVAT
