I'm sure that this has been discussed before but can anyone suggest any good websites for a knowledge hungry 7 year old. We've used the one's suggested by the school, but are now looking for some others as well.

Her teacher agrees that this is a good idea as my DDs quest for knowledge seems to be insatiable at the moment.

History, geography, science (as we have some great maths ones) would be really helpful, but any you can recommend.

We don't want to go down the route of the DCU programmes yet.

www.pppst.com (Pete's powerpoint station)= fantastic website for educational games, powerpoints and other activities. You need to trawl around a bit on the site initially but once you get used to it you can find just about any topic/subject you can think of on it. Very colourful and varied.
