I love ground coffee but making it is a tad time comsuming. Some years ago someone came up with the idea of putting tea into a bag which made making it a lot easier. Has anyone ever tried that approact with coffee? If you know of any coffee bags please let me know.

These are the closest thing I've seen. The coffee would go stale in the tea bag format though, unlike tea. There's such a thing as a coffee sock, however! You put your freshly ground coffee into it.

When in Malaysia and Singapore in 2006 I found coffee-bags. Much better than nescafe which was the ubiqutuous "coffee" in those parts, but nothing to write home about. Think they had sugar in them already.

You could try one of these instead, it seems to be about as easy as using a teabag.

You could also try getting a coffee pad machine (phillips senseo for example). The water just heats up in the resevoir at the back (quiet quickly). You put in one pad or two, depending on how many cups you want to make, press the button and out comes the coffee into the cups!
