Can't view HTTP headers on omegle

[I'm not sure if this is the most appropriate forum but it's relevant to web dev and seems like something someone here would know about.]

So today I was killing time on Omegle and had "Live HTTP Headers" open when I realized none of Omegle's requests or responses were showing up. I thought it might be a glitch in the plug-in and so I tried it with HTTPfox, then Chrome's dev tools, then the Burp Suite.

As far as I can tell Omegle isn't sending HTTP headers, but that can't be right, can it? It appears to use AJAX but none of the tools can intercept the requests.

Why is this? I'm more curios then anything else but now it's beginning to annoy me. Omegle uses a comet model so maybe these tools only listen for responses when requests are sent? I would've thought that true for the plugins but not Burp Suite, and it wouldn't explain why I can't see the messages I send.

Anyway, clearly I'm missing something here. No doubt something stupidly obvious that'll have me looking like a tit but I need to know, it's really getting on my nerves.
