I Like someone!

I like someone. Here's the problem, not sure what his sexuality is. He is so sweet, cute, kind, kind of sensitive and well good looking.

Here's some traits I picked up on that could determine possibly:

Bites his lip (Totally attractive)
His hands are quite large (I heard levels of testosterone could determine sexuality)
If were online together we most of the time emot winkies .
And has a fine liking to Hot chocolate and all sorts of food.

Now, How do I approach him or determine his sexuality?
Anonymous eMail, Anonymous Letter to his door... Wait that's quite weird.

Help me, I think I'm losing it / Falling in love.

Um. They're pretty awful reasons to think that somebody's gay tbh. And if you wanna find out ...ask him.

And has a fine liking to Hot chocolate and all sorts of food. Emm... I don't mean to be rude, but this is the most bizarre indicator of gayness in the world. If liking hot chocolate means you're gay pretty much everyone in the world is gay.

You probably need to determine if he is gay before laying your heart on the line. That means actually finding out if he likes guys rather than liking chocolate. The only way you can tell if someone is gay is if they are sexually attracted to their own gender.

Try not to do anything anonymously because that is just incredibly creepy. If anyone asked me in an anonymous email i'd ignore it and block. Does he know you're gay? Might be a good way to find out if he is or not. You could also look at his 'interested in' bit if he's on facebook.

Ok, I know I'm pretty bad for making up reasons to think people I like are gay, but you have honestly taken it to a new level. :P

Safest bet is to hang out with him a bit more and try flirting with him a tiny bit

Maybe you could casually drop it into a conversation with him, easier to be subtle depends wheather you're happy to let him know your gay too tho.

Something along the line of, what you doing the weekend ... ah I duno might go to the front lounge on sat.... see if he recognises it, or just ask him if he wants to go for a drink, you dont need to lay your heart on the line at the same time! Does he ever mention girls?

Any idea how I can determine he's gay? He never mentioned anything about girls from the time I known him expect for the usual stuff that I'd act and say.

I remember this girl was trying to suss out my sexuality and she went through everything; "Ever listen to K.D Lang? Tegan & Sarah? Do you watch The L Word? Do you just LOVE Ellen Degeneres? Ever been to (insert gay club)?"
Stuff like that'll only work if he fits into a stereotype though.
Why don't you ask him out on a date?

I think anything at all with a gay slant will do. Ask him if David Norris will get the presidency? Or what he thinks about the Swedish footballer coming out? Whatever he's interested in and then bring it the conversation around to something on the subject of homosexuality.

(Just trying to think whether all conversation topics can be gayified...)

If you are willing to come out to him, mention at any point *insert name of celebrity you fancy here* is hot. Then the subject of his sexual orienatation can be easily broached.

Anyway apart from that you could ask him what bars he goes to etc. does he know you're gay?

No, just to clarify, I said those questions were used on me. "All gays" don't do anything really. I think you should ask him out because even if you find out that he's gay you won't find out if he's interested in you.

I used to bite my lips, cold sore city. Perhaps he's riddled with herpes in which case he can fall into either category. As for having big hands determining high testosterone levels- a big wang would be your best indicator.
